In his short memoir The Drop Box, Ivie takes readers along on his life-altering journey to document Pastor Lee's mission to save hundreds of abandoned infants in Seoul. Ivie poignantly captures his inner turmoil as a young artist torn between chasing fame and telling an important story.

Little did Ivie know that this experience would lead him to direct two acclaimed documentary features, including The Drop Box, and produce many others, including the Oscar-winning short film, The Queen of Basketball.

With candor and humor, Ivie reflects on the uncertainties of youth and finding one's purpose. For young creatives with big dreams, Ivie's story will resonate and inspire. The Drop Box proves that when we follow our compassion, our impact can extend far beyond what we may have imagined possible.
